Create your own unique exterior or interior house sign.

We can offer a large range of different shapes, styles and materials for all types of house signs, plaques or nameplates – in brass, bronze, stainless steel and Perspex. Use the sign designer to choose your own text, upload an image to use and choose various fixings, stakes and standoffs.

All the house signs made by Sign Industries are custom made and totally unique, made of high quality materials and finishes.

All orders are fully proofed and sent to you by email for your approval before we start manufacturing.

    Brass House Sign

    Our custom brass house signs are made bespoke to order.

    • We use a highly polished 3mm thick Brass.
    • Often infilled black but can incorporate many colours particularly when logos are required.

    Bronze house sign

    Our Bronze house signs are made bespoke to order

    • We use a high quality 3mm thick aged bronze.
    • White and cream are the best fill colours for this metal to contrast the dark background.
    • There is also the option for reverse etching where we etch away the background leaving the letters standing proud.
    • We use a premium material for our bronze house signs and it requires no maintenance.
    • We patinate the bronze to a dark colour which ages beautifully over time.

    Hardwood Plaques (Oak)

    Our custom hardwood signs are made bespoke to order.

    Handcrafted from 20mm thick Solid Oak with a coved/styled edge detail and hidden keyhole fixing slots on the rear.

    With customisable engraved lettering completed with a black in-fill, it suits a range of settings.

    Durable and weather-resistant finished using Osmo UV-Protection-Oil which allows the wood to breathe:

    • Prevents the graying effects of UV damage.
    • Offers superb durability against weathering.
    • Contains biocides to protect wood against mould, algae and fungal attack.
    • Helps to prevent swelling, shrinkage, splitting and warping of timber.
    • Will not crack, peel or blister.
    • Has a satin varnish-like finish.

    Note: Oak is a natural material so each plaque will vary in woodgrain, characteristics and colour, this adds to the individual charm of each plaque and makes it a truly personalized item.

    We offer two sizes:

    450 x 120mm allowing for up to 15 characters including spaces
    600 x 120mm allowing for up to 21 characters including spaces

    If using the maximum amount of characters the text will be approx 26mm in height

    Font used will be Times New Roman

    PLEASE NOTE:

    Maximum character length for small 450mm sign: 15  / large 600mm sign: 21 characters

    For any custom sizes not listed, additional characters over 15/21 length, advice on inscriptions, incorporation of logos or choice of alternative fonts, please contact us for a quotation before ordering

    Perspex Signs

    Our Perspex House Signs are made to order using a Coloured Backplate.

    • The vinyl lettering is added to the reverse of the Clear 3mm thick Perspex Frontplate.
    • The fixings we supply for all perspex house signs are Solid Brass Standoffs which come in a variety of finishes Chrome Polish/Gold Polish and Satin Chrome.
    • Wall plugs and screws are supplied free of charge.

    A more modern material than brass or bronze, suitable as a contemporary or modern house sign.

    • Our Stainless Steel house signs are supplied with a brushed or polished finish
    • We only use 316 grade material which is suitable for submerging in salt water.
    • We use high quiality 3mm thick material.
