4m x 2m, down to matchbox size.

Do you specialise?
Yes, in engraving, shaping & hole cutting of Brass, Bronze & Stainless Steel grade 316.

We also have a local sign-making business which gives us a good insight into the problems that can occur. We have a vast pool of knowledge.

Will the paint wear out
No, if any problems do occur we will immediately replace the product.

Our plates easily survive all sorts of climates.

Cleaning
Stainless steel grade 316 looks after itself. Bronze is a dream! - we "age" it artificially and backfill with a cream colour. Brass needs care, and a good polish such as Goddards.

Standard Sizes
We make exactly what you want, but it makes sense to use standard paper sizes, if you have no preference.

Do you make wooden backings?
Yes, we make dark and light coloured mahogany frames, which come complete with wall fixings.

Do you engrave plastics?
Yes, industrial nameplates and labels. Also wood, leather, and perspex. Call for more information.

Artwork

Computers
We run Macs and PC's. This is a fast-changing topic so please let us know your preferences and we will accommodate them. Ideal formats are; Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw and Flexisign, DXF, but we strongly recommend a phone call for further information.

We do like A4 solid black on white copy. We can also work from rough artwork.

Colours
Any Ral. or B.S. Colour - we will match most pantones.

Logos
Yes, anything goes! Coats of arms . . . you name it.

Delivery and Pricing

How long do you take to manufacture?
Usually 10-14 days from artwork approval, but phone if urgent

Can you do emergency work?
Yes, willingly.

Artwork Charges
We rarely charge, but have to see a rough of the artwork before quoting. There is a nominal set-up charge.

Do the number of letters affect the price?
No. We price per square inch, with allowances for quantity, size, closeness of registration of colours, borders, and also the quality of the artwork available.
